Gemstones

My environmental ethos inform my jewelry practice. Most of the gemstones I use are reclaimed from old jewelry however, if I am sourcing new stones I buy from ethical, responsible, and traceable dealers. I purchase stones from local lapidary artists and miners during my travels throughout the western United States. Every other year I visit the Tucson Gem and Mineral show to build direct relationships with miners and lapidary artists. I also buy from a select group of online Fairtrade dealers. No system is perfect, but I do my best to put environmental responsibility at the forefront of my design. Please contact me with any questions.

Metals

I work in sterling silver and solid gold. I source my metals from refiners and companies who specialize in recycling metal. I also purchase and repurpose your unwanted jewelry and recycle it myself. I'm happy to melt down your jewelry to make a new piece for you.
